What are the age ranges in each class?

2 Year Old Classroom: Must be 2 by September 1, 2021

3 Year Old Classroom: Must be 3 by September 1, 2021

4 Year Old Classroom (free VPK): Must be 4 by September 1, 2021

What are your operational hours?

9:00am-12:00pm, with an optional lunch extension from 12:00pm-1:30pm. RSA closely follows the Manatee County school calendar for opening/closing. We follow all of their closings for emergency closings. 

What is the staff:student ratio?

Our ratios will always meet or exceed Florida guidelines.

Will you be licensed by the state of FL?

Yes. The facility and staff will meet or exceed all licensing requirements and is licensed by the State of FL. Our licensing number is C12MA0354

Preschool

9:00am-12:00pm, with an optional lunch extension from 12:00pm-1:30pm.

Elementary

8:30am-3:00pm

Drop off between 8:15am-8:30am

Pick up between 3:00pm-3:10pm

Do you offer before care or after care?

RSA Elementary does not offer before care at this time.  Our Fellowship Hall will be open for those families who have children in both Elementary and Preschool from 8:30am-9:00am.

 

RSA Elementary is working on an option for an after-care program from 3:00pm-5:00pm, pending staffing. 

What is the staff:student ratio?

RSA Preschool ratios will always meet or exceed Florida guidelines.

RSA Elementary-Kindergarten will have a 10:1 Student-to-Teacher ratio.

What are your COVID Protocols?

At RSA, we are taking the utmost care in keeping our students, their families, and our staff safe during these unprecedented times by following the CDC's guidelines.  For more information on our safety protocols, please contact our Director, Miss Maria Ginés.

Do you have a playground that is shaded?

Yes, our playground has a shade structure, artificial turf, a security fence, and age-appropriate equipment to foster climbing and balance skills.

Do you provide lunch, snacks, and drinks?

RSA will not offer lunch options at this time.  Each child will bring a healthy lunch, snack, and refillable, unbreakable water bottle from home each day.

Do you accept children with special needs?

RSA is a non-discriminatory school. We will work with parents of a special needs student to determine if we can safely and competently meet the needs of their child. Decisions will be made on a case by case basis.

Does RSA require uniforms?

RSA Preschool does not have a uniform requirement.

RSA Elementary does require a uniform.  

  • Gray or purple polo shirt with RSA logo

  • Tan or khaki bottoms

  • Online store is available through Land's End

Does RSA Elementary offer discounts or scholarships?

RSA Elementary offers the following discounts and scholarships:

  • Sibling discount 10% 

  • Staff discount 20%

  • Income-base scholarships available through the Step Up For Students Program

  • Risen Savior Member scholarships
